Telecom systems are many systems pretending to be one
A single customer order at an ISP or operator can touch CRM, product catalogue, provisioning, network inventory, activation, billing, payment and support, and these systems often come from different vendors and decades. When one integration lags, customers wait days for activation or get billed for services they cannot use.
We build the integration layers that connect OSS and BSS, streaming data pipelines for CDRs and network events, SRE and observability practices with clear SLOs, and security controls sized for critical infrastructure. For smaller ISPs we also provide managed operations.
Problems we hear from telecom teams
Most of them come down to integration, visibility or scale.
“Activation takes days because systems don’t talk”
Orders are rekeyed between CRM, provisioning and billing, with errors at every handoff.
“Customers report outages before our NOC does”
Alarms are noisy, dashboards are fragmented and there is no customer-impact view.
“Billing disputes eat our margin”
Rating, usage and plan changes do not reconcile, so revenue leaks and support tickets pile up.
“Our CDR and event data is too big for our tools”
Billions of records land in batch files that nobody can query in time.
“Regulators want faster incident reporting”
Telecom security rules expect fast reporting and solid logging, but logs are scattered.
“Our vendor platform is end-of-life”
A legacy OSS or billing system needs replacing without disrupting live subscribers.
Telecom solutions from order to bill
Each one targets a specific operational bottleneck.
Order-to-activate integration
The challenge
Manual rekeying between CRM, catalogue, provisioning and billing slows activation and causes errors.
Our approach
We build an event-driven integration layer with clear order states, using TM Forum Open APIs where your vendors support them, so orders flow automatically and failures are visible and retryable.
What you get
- Order orchestration with clear states
- APIs to provisioning, inventory and billing
- Fallout dashboards and retries
- Reduced manual rekeying
Streaming CDR & network-event pipelines
The challenge
High-volume usage and event data arrives in batches and is too slow for fraud, assurance or capacity decisions.
Our approach
We build streaming pipelines into a governed lakehouse, with near-real-time aggregates for fraud and revenue-assurance rules and long-term storage for planning and compliance.
What you get
- Streaming ingestion (Kafka or cloud-native)
- Lakehouse with retention policies
- Revenue-assurance and fraud signals
- Capacity and churn dashboards
Service assurance & SRE
The challenge
Too many alarms, too little context, and customer impact discovered from social media.
Our approach
We define SLOs for customer-facing services, correlate alarms into incidents, build customer-impact dashboards and set up on-call runbooks, so the NOC sees problems first.
What you get
- Service SLOs and error budgets
- Alarm correlation and noise reduction
- Customer-impact dashboards
- Incident runbooks and post-mortems
Telecom security & logging
The challenge
Critical-infrastructure security rules expect hardened systems, centralised logs and fast incident reporting.
Our approach
We harden management planes and cloud workloads, centralise and retain logs, run penetration tests on customer portals and APIs, and build incident runbooks that meet reporting timelines.
What you get
- Hardening of management interfaces
- Centralised, retained logging
- Portal and API penetration testing
- Incident-reporting runbooks
Self-service portals & apps
The challenge
Customers call support for plan changes, bills and outage updates.
Our approach
We build customer portals and apps connected to billing and provisioning, plus AI assistants on web and WhatsApp that answer routine questions and escalate with context.
What you get
- Customer self-service portal and app
- Billing and plan-change integration
- Outage status and notifications
- AI assistant with human handoff
Security and resilience rules for telecom
Telecom networks are critical national infrastructure almost everywhere, and the rules reflect that.
Telecommunications Act, 2023 & cyber-security rules
The Act and the Telecom Cyber Security Rules notified under it in 2024 set duties for telecom entities, including security policies, incident reporting to the government and cooperation on security audits.
CERT-In directions (2022)
Six-hour incident reporting, 180-day log retention in India and NTP synchronisation apply to service providers, including ISPs and data centres.
NIS2 Directive
Public electronic communications networks and services and digital-infrastructure providers are in scope, with risk-management, supply-chain and incident-reporting obligations.
Telecommunications (Security) Act 2021
Its Code of Practice phases in specific security measures for public network providers by tier, with milestones running into 2027 and beyond.
STIR/SHAKEN
Caller-ID authentication required by the FCC for voice providers to combat robocalls, with extensions to non-IP networks. It is relevant for voice platforms and VoIP providers.
TRAI commercial-messaging rules
Commercial SMS and calls run on DLT registration of senders, templates and consent under TRAI’s regulations, which affects how messaging platforms route traffic.

Questions telecom teams ask us
We usually integrate and modernise around them rather than sell a replacement. When a platform must be replaced, we help select it, build the integration layer and migrate data with old and new running in parallel.
Yes. We design streaming and lakehouse architectures for high-volume telecom data, with partitioning, retention and cost controls, sized to your actual volumes.
Yes. Regional ISPs and FTTH providers often need provisioning automation, billing integration, a customer portal and monitoring more than anything exotic, and we can run it for them as managed operations.
We implement and evidence the technical controls (hardening, logging, retention, VAPT and incident runbooks) these rules call for. Interpreting your regulatory obligations should involve your compliance and legal teams.
We build and improve the software around them (APIs, routing logic, dashboards, observability and fraud detection) for CPaaS and messaging companies.
