Every second and every stock-out shows up in revenue
Retail technology is judged in moments: the first second of a product page on a mid-range phone, the minute a festive sale goes live, the hour a marketplace oversells stock that the warehouse does not have. Each of those moments depends on different systems (CDN, application, database, payment gateway, ERP, warehouse) working together under pressure.
We tune storefront performance and technical SEO, build elastic cloud infrastructure and load-test it before big events, connect payment, ERP, marketplace and logistics systems through event-driven integration, and bring sales data into one analytics model the whole business trusts.
Retail problems we are asked to fix
Most of them show up first in conversion rate, refunds or support tickets.
“The site fell over in the first ten minutes of the sale”
Autoscaling, caches or the database could not keep up with the spike the marketing team created.
“Our product pages are slow on mobile”
Heavy themes, third-party scripts and unoptimised images push LCP and INP into the red.
“We oversell stock across channels”
Website, marketplaces and stores update inventory at different times.
“Finance and marketing disagree on revenue”
Every tool reports a different number, and nobody trusts the dashboard.
“Our PCI assessor asked about payment-page scripts”
You need an inventory, justification and tamper detection for every script on the checkout page.
“Hosting costs stay at peak all year”
Infrastructure is sized for Diwali or Black Friday and never scales back down.

Peak-readiness & elastic cloud
The challenge
A sale, a campaign or a celebrity mention can multiply traffic in minutes, and the stack was never tested at that level.
Our approach
We profile the stack, add CDN and caching strategy, make the application tier scale horizontally, protect the database with read replicas and queues, then load-test at your target peak and rehearse the runbook.
What you get
- CDN, caching and queueing strategy
- Autoscaling application tier
- Load test at target peak, with report
- Sale-day runbook and war-room support
Core Web Vitals & technical SEO
The challenge
Product and category pages are slow on real phones, hurting both conversion and organic rankings.
Our approach
We measure field data, then fix image delivery, critical CSS, JavaScript and third-party tag weight, and server response time. We pair that with technical SEO for faceted navigation, structured data and crawl budget.
What you get
- Field-data audit (LCP, INP, CLS)
- Image, script and tag optimisation
- Product and offer structured data
- Faceted-navigation and crawl fixes
Inventory & order integration
The challenge
ERP, POS, marketplaces, payment gateways and 3PLs each hold part of the truth, synced by batch jobs and spreadsheets.
Our approach
We build an event-driven integration layer so stock, orders, returns and shipments flow between systems in near real time, with retries, idempotency and dashboards for failed messages.
What you get
- Event-driven integration layer
- Real-time stock sync across channels
- Order, return and shipment events
- Monitoring for failed transactions
Payment-page security (PCI DSS)
The challenge
Checkout pages carry analytics, chat and A/B-testing scripts, and PCI DSS v4.0.1 now requires you to manage and monitor them.
Our approach
We inventory and justify every script, add Content Security Policy and integrity controls, set up change and tamper detection, and penetration-test the checkout flow.
What you get
- Payment-page script inventory
- CSP and integrity controls
- Tamper and change detection
- Checkout penetration test
Unified retail analytics
The challenge
Revenue, margin and customer numbers differ across the platform, ad tools, ERP and finance.
Our approach
We build a warehouse that brings orders, returns, costs, campaigns and stock together under one agreed set of definitions, with dashboards for trading, marketing and finance.
What you get
- Single revenue and margin model
- Automated pipelines from every channel
- Trading and marketing dashboards
- Customer cohort and LTV analysis
Rules that now reach the storefront
Payment security, accessibility, privacy and consumer protection all land on the website. These are the ones we help retailers meet.
PCI DSS v4.0.1 · 6.4.3 & 11.6.1
Since 31 March 2025, merchants must inventory, authorise and integrity-check scripts on payment pages and detect unauthorised changes. Redirect and iframe checkouts reduce scope but do not remove it.
European Accessibility Act
Applies to e-commerce services offered to EU consumers from 28 June 2025, with EN 301 549 (aligned to WCAG 2.1 AA) as the benchmark. Accessibility also tends to improve conversion.
Consent & tracking
GDPR and ePrivacy require valid consent for non-essential cookies, and Google requires Consent Mode v2 signals for EEA ad measurement. We implement consent that is lawful and still measurable.
E-commerce & dark-pattern rules
The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the 2023 guidelines on dark patterns restrict practices such as false urgency, drip pricing and forced action in checkout flows.
DPDP Act, 2023
Customer data, marketing consent and breach notification for Indian shoppers fall under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
Core Web Vitals
INP replaced FID as a Core Web Vital in March 2024. It measures how quickly pages respond to taps and clicks, which matters most on heavy product and filter pages.

Three to four weeks before a major sale or campaign. It works best when started at least six weeks before the event.
Baseline
Field performance data, architecture review, traffic forecast from marketing and a list of every third-party dependency.
Fix the bottlenecks
Caching, scaling, database and checkout fixes, prioritised by expected revenue impact.
Load test
Test at forecast peak (and beyond) to find the breaking point, then fix and retest.
Runbook & war room
A rehearsed runbook, dashboards and engineers on call during the sale, followed by a cost scale-down afterwards.

Questions e-commerce teams ask us
Yes. We work on hosted platforms like Shopify (themes, apps, integrations and performance) as well as self-hosted WooCommerce and Magento/Adobe Commerce, and headless storefronts built on frameworks such as Next.js.
Ideally six to eight weeks before. That leaves time to fix bottlenecks, load-test, fix again and rehearse. Even two weeks is useful for a focused load test and runbook.
It reduces scope significantly, but merchants remain responsible for the security of the page that loads or redirects to the payment form. Under PCI DSS v4.0.1 eligibility criteria still apply, so check with your acquirer or QSA. We help you keep that page and its scripts under control.
Yes. We integrate marketplace seller APIs, payment gateways, shipping aggregators and ERPs such as Tally, Zoho or SAP Business One so orders, stock and settlements reconcile automatically.
Faster, more responsive pages generally reduce bounce and improve conversion, but the size of the effect varies by store. We measure your baseline and track conversion alongside Core Web Vitals so you can see the real impact.
