A senior Mirth Connect team that keeps your interfaces flowing
Mirth Connect (now the community-driven Open Integration Engine) is the most widely used open-source healthcare integration engine in the world — and it only delivers value when its channels are designed, tuned and monitored by people who have run it in production. Our engineers have built and supported Mirth interfaces for hospitals, labs, imaging centres and health-tech vendors across the US and India, moving millions of HL7 and FHIR messages with zero data loss.
We design channels, transformers and message filters; build custom JavaScript and Java code templates; configure two-way SSL/TLS connectivity; and wire up reliable delivery with alerting, error handling and reprocessing. Whether you need a single new lab interface, a full EHR onboarding, a version upgrade, or a fully managed support retainer with SLAs, we cover the entire Mirth lifecycle.
- Channel, transformer & code-template development
- HL7 v2, FHIR, X12 EDI, CCDA & custom formats
- Mirth / Open Integration Engine version upgrades & migration
- 24/7 monitoring, alerting and message reprocessing

Two-way SSL/TLS, VPN and secure MLLP configuration for HIPAA-compliant message exchange.
Monitoring & Alerting
Proactive channel monitoring, error alerting, dashboards and automated message reprocessing.
Managed Support
Retainer-based support with response-time SLAs, on-call cover and change management.
End-to-end Mirth Connect integration services
Mirth Connect is the de-facto open-source healthcare integration engine, used by hospitals, labs, diagnostic vendors and health-tech companies to move clinical data between systems. It reads a message in one format and protocol, transforms and validates it, applies routing and filtering, then delivers it reliably — with error handling and reprocessing so nothing is silently lost. Our engineers design, build, upgrade and support that entire pipeline.
Channel types and message formats we build
- HL7 v2 — ADT (admissions), ORM/OMG (orders), ORU (results), SIU (scheduling), MDM (documents), DFT (billing).
- FHIR R4 — expose or consume FHIR resources and bridge HL7 v2 ↔ FHIR.
- X12 EDI — 270/271 eligibility, 837 claims, 835 remittance.
- CCDA / documents — generate, validate and route clinical documents to EHRs and HIEs.
- Custom — delimited, XML, JSON and database-to-database channels.
Protocols and connectivity
We configure the transport your partners require — MLLP over TCP, HTTP/S and web services, SFTP/FTP, JMS and direct database connectors — secured with two-way SSL/TLS and VPN for HIPAA-compliant exchange.
Mirth Connect, NextGen Connect and the open-source forks
In 2025 the Mirth Connect codebase (from version 4.6) moved to a commercial per-channel licence under NextGen Connect, while the community continued the open-source project as the Open Integration Engine (OIE) and BridgeLink forks under MPL 2.0. We work across all of them and help you choose the right path — staying on a supported open-source fork, or planning a licence and upgrade strategy — without disrupting your live interfaces.
Take over, fix or build from scratch
Whether you have inherited an undocumented set of channels that break at 2am, need a brand-new lab or EHR interface, or want a fully managed integration environment, we meet you where you are — with a documented handover, a reliability and security review, and SLA-backed ongoing support.

Mirth Connect is an open-source healthcare integration engine used to route, transform and monitor clinical messages between systems — for example sending HL7 v2 lab results into an EHR, exchanging CCDA documents with an HIE, or exposing FHIR APIs. It handles message filtering, transformation, error handling and delivery guarantees.
The original Mirth Connect moved to a commercial per-channel licence from version 4.6 (2025) under NextGen Connect. The open-source codebase continues as community forks — the Open Integration Engine (OIE) and BridgeLink under MPL 2.0. We work with both the commercial and open-source paths and help you choose and migrate.
Yes. Following the Mirth Connect community fork, we work with both legacy NextGen Connect / Mirth Connect versions and the community-driven Open Integration Engine, and we help teams plan and execute upgrades and migrations between them.
Absolutely. We take over existing implementations with a documented handover, review your channels for reliability and security, fix problem interfaces, and provide ongoing monitoring and support under an SLA-backed retainer.
HL7 v2 (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, MDM and more), FHIR (R4), X12 EDI (270/271, 837, 835), CCDA/C-CDA and custom delimited or XML formats. We also configure IHE-based document exchange where required.
Mirth Connect can be configured to support HIPAA-compliant exchange — with TLS encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging and secure infrastructure. We deploy it inside hardened, HIPAA-aligned environments and document the controls for your compliance program.
